ashockingbitchJenny was preparing to ring in the new year and her birthday with a bottle of vodka when a Door opened and a black-gloved hand shot through, grabbed her wrist, and yanked her back with it. "Hey!" Jenny started to protest.
Then she realized she was standing in the Garden of Ancestral Memory with the rest of the Authority. Her Authority. And they'd brought cake and booze.
Jenny felt tears well up in her eyes. "You guys don't suck so much sometimes, you know that?"
