Room 401, Wednesday Evening
Dec. 19th, 2007 07:43 pmJenny had a monster hangover, a purpose, and one more final. She also had a song stuck in her head.
Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number
867-5309
867-5309
And suddenly, Jenny realized why Midnighter had looked so maliciously gleeful when he'd told her her new phone number. She was sure she'd had worse days since her resurrection, but right now she was having a damned hard time thinking of one. "God," she moaned, digging the heels of her hands into her eyes. "Let me die."
God did not answer her prayer. This might have had something to do with the thing where she'd killed him. Oops?
Jenny Jenny you're the girl for me
You don't know me but you make me so happy
I tried to call you before but I lost my nerve
I tried my imagination but I was disturbed
"Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Oh bloody hell now I'm singing."
((Door and post are open!))
